Skills Knowledge and Qualifications;
Essential:
- Genuine interest in workingwithin care of the elderly
- Ability to work as part ofa team
- Attending mandatorytraining
- Willingness to attendvocational training programmes
- Satisfactory PVG check
- Two satisfactory references
- Ability to communicate atall levels.
- Have minimum SVQ level IIand be willing to work towards SVQ level III.
Desired:
- SVQ III
- Experience/Qualification in the safe handling of medication
- Previous supervisory experience
Outline of Duties:
- To support manager/deputymanager in the direction of the staff group.
- To plan, implement andsupervise the provision of quality care in partnership with residents, ensuringresidents retain their dignity and individuality.
- To maintain a safe and secureenvironment for residents, staff members and visitors.
- To work in accordance withcompany policies and procedures and employee handbook.
- To ensure that residents aretreated with respect and dignity, and that privacy and choice are activelyobserved.
