We are looking for a nightshift Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Rosturk House.

Based in Cupar the successful Senior care assistant will work three 12 hours night shifts a week on a rota basis, and will earn £12.60 per hour, in addition to an attractive benefits package. To apply, please send an email to Rosturk@rosturk.co.uk

Skills Knowledge and Qualifications

Essential:

- Genuine interest in working within care of the elderly

- Ability to work as part of a team

- Attending mandatory training

- Willingness to attend vocational training programmes

- Satisfactory PVG check

- Two satisfactory references

- Ability to communicate at all levels.

- Have minimum SVQ level II and be willing to work towards SVQ level III.

Job Purpose:

To support manager/deputy manager in the direction of the staff group.

To plan, implement and supervise the provision of quality care in partnership with residents, ensuring residents retain their dignity and individuality.

To maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, staff members and visitors.

To work in accordance with company policies and procedures and employee handbook.

To ensure that residents are treated with respect and dignity, and that privacy and choice are actively observed.

Desired:

SVQ III.

Experience/Qualification in the safe handling of medication.

Previous supervisory experience.
